We've
Moved! Get Our New Contact Info
As
more and more people have seen the light and
joined our ranks here at Freeservers, our
work space has gotten cramped. This week the
long-awaited "M-Day" (move day)
arrived, and we are now located just down
the road at 1253 N Research Way, Q-2500, Orem,
UT 84097. Our telephone numbers and other
contact information remain the same. Please
write our new address down, particularly if
you have upgraded your account and need to
send us your monthly payments.

Forget to Read the Fine Print
We
here at Freeservers are glad you have chosen
to host your Web site with us. In order to
provide the best service possible, we implemented
some rules about the use of Web space on our
servers. Since you agreed to these rules when
you signed up for your site, we thought it
might be a good idea to remind you about them
from time to time. Our "Acceptable Use Policy"
says that there are some things that are not
allowed on your Freeservers Web site. For
example, sites with pornography/adult content,
warez/pirated software, or racist/hate speech
are not allowed and will be deleted. Any sites
that are used for spamming (unsolicited commercial
e-mail) will also be deleted, as is detailed
in our "Anti-Spam Policy." The "Acceptable
Use Policy" also says that Freeservers has
the right to count Web traffic to your site
as part of Freeservers traffic for Web traffic
measurements. This means that you cannot transfer
that right to any other company.
Freeservers also has a "Privacy Policy," which
states that we will not sell your e-mail address
or other information to anyone else without
your specific consent. This policy also allows
Freeservers to contact you with information
about Freeservers (like this newsletter!)
as well as special deals that may be of interest
to you. Such e-mails are sent directly by
us, and your e-mail address is not given to

We
cannot remind you enough that if your Web site
is important to you, you should back up your
site to protect against possible disk errors
or other problems. Freeservers makes a tremendous
effort to protect your site against data loss,
